A comical skit (can’t say that SNL is chock full of them lately) that offers a sobering commentary on how we got ourselves in this mess. Why is this simple truth so hard to grasp for so many? I think the word that the Bible uses over and over to sum up what should be taught to counteract this tendency is contentment.
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that - 1Tim 6:6-8. Let’s hope so.
